  I am currently travelling through Australia with a friend. Recently, when we were passing through Mataranka, we noticed a small problem with our car (it made a beep sound when the doors were open). We asked the lady at the reception if someone could have a quick look on it, explaining specifically that our only problem was the sound and explained it hasn't been there before and that it's not normal for our car. We were told that someone would have a quick look on it and see whether something could be done this or the next day. We were asked to wait outside, it should only take 20min. 1.5h later we saw the mechanic driving our car and finally leaving. So we went inside and after waiting again because 2 receptionists were talking to the same customer, we got told that the sound was apparently normal for cars. However, it took 1.5h and an unnecessary inspection to diagnose this. The worst part was that we still had to pay almost 40$ - for nothing, for the diagnose that it would be "normal", which is obviously not the case and which we have told them there. Moreover, if it was normal, why couldn't someone have told us this right in the beginning or why couldn't the mechanic simply open the door and say "oh, you mean this sound? It's normal". After expressing our lack of understanding why we even had to pay anything at all, we didn't even get an explanation. Also, the way how the receptionist talked to us in the beginning, we didn't get the feeling that we would have to pay anything for "a quick look". I don't recommend anyone to have their car repaired there unless it's inevitable.

  This company is brilliant. They had to come out to us to fix a caravan wheel. BAck at the workshop the man stayed well after hrs to repair it for us..
